Lakewood Country Club is continually looking for skilled, motivated staff to provide quality service for our members. In this regard, we welcome inquiries.

Position


 

  Dining

Server: The server is responsible for banquet and grille food and beverage service in the Lakewood Country Club dining venues.  She/he must be friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging.  The server is responsible for serving prepared foods to restaurants participants; ensure a successful execution of restaurant meals and service that all participants are satisfied with. 

Bartender: The bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality of beverage production and service to our Members and guests in addition to supporting all Club venues, events, and fellow Employee Partners in delivering quality beverages and service.  The bartender maintains the bar, bar service areas, and related storerooms in a neat, organized, and secure manner. 

Food Runner/Busser: The food runner/busser's main responsibility is assisting the Food Server in servicing the guest.  This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight.  This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. 

Host/Hostess: The host/hostess is responsible for ensuring that all Members and guests have the highest quality food and beverage experience possible by providing exceptional host skills to include: courteous telephone skills, proper handling of reservations, greeting guests, seating guests, monitoring the flow/pace of the dining room, offering support to servers and attendants and acknowledging departing guests with a kind remark.  She/he is also responsible for taking care of future reservations and maintaining wait list and other duties as assigned.  The host/hostess must be passionate about guest service and hospitality. 


 
 

  Grounds

Seasonal Grounds Staff: The seasonal grounds staff
 maintains grounds and buildings at Lakewood Country Club.  This is a very independent position.  She/he is responsible for daily course appearance.  The Seasonal Grounds staff must have the ability to deal with the public and formulate solutions to Golf Course problems. 

 

 Housekeeping 

HOUSEKEEPER: The housekeeper will maintain that cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse including but not limited to cleaning banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and service areas.  

 

  KITCHEN

 Line Prep Cook: The line prep cook will ensure that the highest quality food is prepared per the exact recipe specifications at all times.  The line prep cook is responsible for all aspects of their assigned station, completes all items on the daily preparation list, and cleans, sanitizes, and maintains equipment, utensils, and tools.  



  AQUATICS


Lifeguards for Summer Employment: Lakewood Country Club is in search for Lifeguards for this upcoming pool season.  We open the pool the last weekend in May and close it by the first weekend in September.  We are looking for Lifeguards with prior pool experience and the ability to work flexible shifts throughout the summer months.  The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in the water.
