Membership

You're visiting the future of family-focused country club life.

An expert on top tier private clubs, after visiting and spending some time at Lakewood, defined the Club as a "fun, upbeat, user-friendly facility where families gather because it is their 'safe harbor.' It is their first choice when considering recreation, fitness, dining and entertainment."

As a member at Lakewood, you enjoy the opportunity to entertain family, friends and colleagues in a relaxed, friendly environment. You have several dining venues from which to choose with the knowledge that the award-winning culinary team will always have a variety of tasty options from which to choose. Members receive exceptional service from an enthusiastic professional staff that thoroughly enjoys the personal interaction with members, their families and guests. A comprehensive schedule of family and social activities awaits you each season, along with a variety of programs and competitions in golf, tennis, fitness, and aquatics for all age groups, depending on the membership category.

The members are proud of Lakewood and its continued growth since its founding in 1959. We look forward, with great expectation and much enthusiasm, to a future of innovation and distinction. Please join us in the journey.

This includes attendance at all Club-sponsored events and activities. Social members are nor permitted to use the Club's golf facilities, even as a guest of a current Lakewood member.

The new Social program enables a candidate to join by paying half of the normal initiation fee with their application for membership. The balance of the initiation fee is due after the member completes one year of membership, making this more palatable for prospective members.

  • Young Executive
    • Young Executive memberships are designed for individuals and families where the primary member is between the age of 21 and 45 years of age, who would not qualify as a Legacy member. Members in this category have full access to all of the facilities at Lakewood, the Clubhouse, Aquatic Center, indoor and outdoor tennis facilities and full fitness privileges. Young Executives may play in Club golf tournaments, as defined by the Board, Director of Golf or Lakewood's GM/COO.  Young Executive memberships are limited to 30 at any one time and members in this group have no voting privileges.

For 2017, the Board has approved a modified initiation fee arrangement for Young Executive candidates. This enables candidates to pay only a portion of the normal initiation fee with their application, with the balance is due in equal annual payments, spread annually, from their current age to age 45.  In this manner, the initiation fee is spread out over several years, making joining Lakewood a very easy decision!
